The first Indigenous Australian elected to the House of Representatives, the first to serve as a government minister, and the first appointed to cabinet – the Minister was appointed in May 2019 and driven change for the voice of Indigenous Australians.

Nicole Stewart CEO, Gerrbik Laundry Services

Australia’s first Aboriginal-owned commercial laundry is also the nation’s largest Aboriginal-owned laundry. Nicole took over the business her father started in 1979. Based just outside Melbourne, she will discuss the impacts COVID has had and how she’s working her way out.

Katrina Fanning Founder / Director, Coolamon Advisors

Through a partnership with IBA, Coolamon Advisors have supported the delivery of specialist advice for the Business Relief Package. Katrina has deep public sector experience and has been responsible for leading complex operational and policy activities for a number of organisations.

With a background in business development, law, finance and investment, Rajiv has worked at IBA since 2012. His passion for Indigenous affairs shines through in all that he does. He believes true equality comes from ensuring Indigenous Australians are an integral part of the Australian economy.
