Victorian Councils currently have an approximate spend of 3 billion, on procuring goods and services. This represents a significant amount of purchasing power and opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses. In the pursuit of Closing the Gap, Self-determination and addressing other social issues for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community; What opportunities, impact and influence can procurement spending create?
